QSI Shenzhen Intensive English Classes at PLE and Main Campus 

At Quality Schools International (QSI), every student is empowered to excel in their educational pursuits, based on the firm belief that all students should thrive in their academic environments. Nonetheless, students whose English proficiency lags behind age-related expectations may face challenges flourishing within conventional classroom settings. It is for these students that the meticulously crafted Intensive English program has been tailored. 

The overarching objective of the Intensive English program is to create a dynamic learning atmosphere that accelerates the acquisition of English language proficiency across speaking, listening, reading, and writing, equipping students to excel in their age-appropriate mainstream courses. By maintaining smaller class sizes compared to mainstream settings, Intensive English classes enable educators to personalize instruction and address individual student needs with greater precision. A maximum student capacity of eight to ten per class is envisioned for optimal learning outcomes. Ultimately, the program not only fosters academic success but also cultivates confidence among students as they navigate their educational journey. 

The comprehensive Intensive English program comprises two distinct courses: Intensive English Literacy Elementary and Intensive English Literacy Pre-Secondary. Student placement within these courses is determined through a series of thorough assessments to ensure tailored and effective instruction. These meticulously structured Intensive English courses cater to students aged 6 to 13, ensuring a comprehensive approach to language development across different age groups. 

The ultimate aim is for students to develop proficient English language skills swiftly, enabling a smooth transition back to mainstream classrooms. Throughout their time in the IE program, close attention is paid to monitoring their progress in oral communication, reading comprehension, and writing abilities. Once students demonstrate academic proficiency comparable to that of a native English speaker at their age level, they will successfully transition out of the IE program.
