At QSI Shenzhen we prioritize the safety, well-being, and happiness of every child within our community. Our commitment to child safeguarding and protection aligns with the values shared by our school community and complies with the current Child Protection Policies established by QSI.

We believe that every child deserves a nurturing and secure environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. In fostering this environment, we pledge to:

1. Uphold the dignity and rights of every child, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.

2. Provide comprehensive education and awareness to our entire school community about child safeguarding and protection.

3. Maintain rigorous hiring practices and continuous training for staff to ensure the highest standards of care.

4. Encourage open communication and collaboration among students, parents, and staff to promptly address any concerns or issues related to child protection.

5. Regularly review and update our policies and procedures to stay aligned with the evolving landscape of child safeguarding.

QSI SAFEGUARDING AND CHILD PROTECTION STATEMENT

QSI-Shenzhen believes that all children have the right to be safe and that the school has a responsibility to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our students. A secure environment is imperative so that our students can develop, thrive, and be successful, regardless of ethnicity, religion, or cultural heritage. Because of this belief, QSI has adopted the Empower: Child Protection Curriculum. This curriculum is in alignment with the QSI Success Orientations and the QSI Child Safeguarding and Protection Policy.

  • Safeguarding and Child Protection is a priority for every QSI School.
  • QSI commits to supporting school environments that safeguard children through both prevention and intervention.
  • QSI works in cooperation with international agencies to ensure standards associated with best practices are regularly reviewed, revised, and applied in all operations, activities, and events.
  • QSI leaders honor and uphold child protection guidelines and procedures in partnership with all stakeholders in their respective school communities.

All employees of QSI have been trained concerning the best practices for child safeguarding and protection. Our employees must also report suspected incidences of child abuse or neglect whenever they have reasonable cause to believe that a child has suffered or is at risk of suffering abuse or neglect. QSI Shenzhen seeks to be a safe haven for all our students and will continue to make child protection and safeguarding a top priority.
