Documents & Fees

Please prepare the following documents:

• Student Passport and Visa page
• Parents/Guardians passport (1 copy for each child) and visa page (if applicable)
• 1 passport-sized photograph of the student
• 1 passport-sized photograph of each parent/guardian
• School records (grade reports/transcripts) from the previous 2 years (with English translation if necessary)
• Signed record release form that allows the school to contact former teachers for reference
• Student's immunization records

Students who hold a foreign passport are eligible.  Students who are hold a travel permit (permission to stay) from Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan are eligible.  Students holding only a PRC passport or ID card are not eligible.  Please note that we do not accept Hong Kong or Macau ID cards.

Registration Fee

This is a one-time, non-refundable fee of RMB 2,200 for all students, payable by bank transfer. 

Admissions Testing

QSI uses the NWEA Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) computerized adaptive test to provide placement data.

Students ages 6 and up will take the MAP entrance test evaluating the student’s knowledge in Reading, Mathematics, and Language Usage. All three tests are given in the English language.

Students ages 8 and older also complete a written essay.

In addition, there is an interview with the campus Director of Instruction (DI). This interview may be waived. 

A student’s placement in a grade level or class is decided upon by the Director of Instruction after the student has completed the admissions process. QSI places all students according to age and last grade completed.

For secondary (high school-aged) students, both MAP results and previous school records are evaluated closely to determine placement in the secondary program. Secondary students (ages 14–18) must show English language proficiency at a high enough level to be successful in earning a high school diploma.

Once a student is placed and chooses to accept their place at QSI Shenzhen, families must pay a Placement Fee and Capital Fund Fee within 10 business days of receiving the acceptance letter. The school's accounting department will contact you with an invoice and can assist with further questions.

报名文件如下：
• 学生护照和学生签证页面
• 第一家长/监护人护照和签证页面（若父母是中国人，请提供中国身份证正反面）
• 第二家长/监护人护照和签证页面 （若父母是中国人，请提供中国身份证正反面）
• 学生和双方家长/监护人大一寸照片各一张（底色没有要求）
• 学生最近两年的官方正式成绩单（或成长报告）（如有必要，请提供英文翻译）
• 学生免疫记录（疫苗针卡）

报名条件：学生需要持有外籍护照和有效中国入境签证，或者持有港澳台证件的学生报名申请。

报名费

这是一笔面向全体学生的、仅需缴纳一次且不可退还的报名费用，金额为2200元人民币。我们接受银行转账作为支付方式，且该费用在重新申请时无需重复缴纳。

入学考核

QSI利用NWEA学业进步测验（MAP）的计算机自适应测试来收集入学评估数据。

6岁及以上的学生需参与MAP入学考核，以评估其在阅读、数学及语言运用方面的能力。这三项考核均以英语进行。

对于8岁及以上的学生，还需提交一篇书面作文。

MAP测试的结果是学生入学准备情况的重要参考依据，同时学生还需接受校园教学总监的面试及其他综合评估。

学生完成入学录取流程后，教学总监会依据QSI的学科标准、学生的年龄及已完成的年级来安排分班。

在九年级至十二年级阶段，我们除了仔细评估学生的MAP测试结果和过往学业成绩外，还要求学生具备足够高水平的英语学习能力，以确保能够顺利获得高中毕业文凭或卓越学术成就。

家长在收到录取通知后，财务部门将通过电子邮件发送缴费清单。家长需在收到财务通知后的10个工作日内完成基本学费的支付。
