QSI International School of Shenzhen has been accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA) since 2006.
QSI schools maintain their accreditation with MSA through a continual process of identifying areas for growth and implementing a community-supported action plan to push the boundaries of success and achievement in specific identified areas.
Quality Schools International is currently working to achieve System-wide accreditation through MSA. Systems accreditation will allow QSI to reflect on where we are now, where we want to be in 5-7 years, and develop plans to reach our goals. MSA will review QSI’s plans to strengthen our organization and implement organization-wide improvement plans. Each of our schools will still be individually accredited, and MSA teams will visit each of our schools to verify that each school meets the standards for accreditation. All QSI schools are involved in some aspect of preparedness toward accreditation at any given time.

Affiliations
QSI International School of Shenzhen is a member of both the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS) and the Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS). EARCOS connects us to a network of 100+ international schools across East Asia, offering professional development workshops, leadership conferences, and student opportunities such as Model United Nations and performing arts festivals. ACAMIS brings together 25+ schools across China and Mongolia, supporting academic competitions (math and science fairs), cultural events, debate tournaments, and inter-school sports leagues in basketball, volleyball, soccer, track & field, and more.
Our Secondary School holds world-class authorizations for students ages 14–18 preparing for top universities worldwide. Since April 2009, we have offered the full International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, an inquiry-based program including extended essays, Theory of Knowledge, and Creativity, for holistic, international-minded growth. We also offer the AP Capstone Diploma™, with AP Seminar and AP Research focused on analyzing real-world issues, conducting independent research, and presenting evidence-based arguments, supported by a wide range of other AP subjects such as Calculus, Biology, English Literature, and World History for U.S. college credits. These programs align seamlessly with our American curriculum core.
In addition, our AEFE-accredited French Program (established 2024) supports trilingual excellence from ages 2–14. Together, these offerings reflect QSI Shenzhen’s commitment to rigorous, flexible, globally recognized education at our Shekou Main Campus.
